New Area Sales Manager

A new Area Sales Manager has been appointed by weighbridge manufacturer, Central Weighing.

Colin Smith, 36, from Ripon, joined Central’s well-established sales team in January and will be responsible for the north of England and Scotland selling the company’s range of axle weighbridges and portable systems.

Central Weighing has been supplying its weighing systems worldwide for more than 20 years to a diverse range of customers including the Ministry of Defence, Royal Mail and supermarket chains. It has achieved the DTI’s Exporter of the Year and been named First Class Supplier several times.

Commenting on his appointment, Colin said: “I am delighted to join Central Weighing and look forward to building on the company’s success.”
