Central Opens New Markets in South America

Central Weighing’s Managing Director Richard Stokes has recently completed a Sales Mission to Colombia where his presentation of “Why Weigh Axles” was welcomed by over 40 representatives from Road Concessions, Ports and Major Fleet Operators.

The presentation was organised by Central’s South American representative Jose Miguel Prieto who sees tremendous potential for the company’s products in the region.

Following the presentation in May 2007, the first orders are expected within weeks.

The presentation is one of many undertaken by the company around the world designed to introduce the very latest overload detection and prevention systems. Over thirty years experience makes Central’s involvement invaluable to Police and Government departments anxious to combat the problems of overloading.
